When we as individuals tell people a secret, is it because we can't contain our excitement of knowing something juicy inside and it just has to be delivered to another outlet of another human being? It's an interesting topic to talk about.
Should we keep it all inside and don't share anything with anyone else...forever? Lock it up and throw the secret key into a river? My main question is it healthy to share your secrets or keep them locked away? Don't misunderstand what I am saying, I feel that I am pretty trustworthy and keep secrets that my close friends tell me...because I know the feeling of betrayal when you tell someone something very serious and don't want anyone else to know...then they go blab to (always) the largest mouth in the country. Why is that? Doesn't that contradict what a secret is and poison a friendship/relationship? Or like my mentor explained to me, it's not a secret if you tell someone. So my question is this...should we keep everything private and locked up inside or feel free and relaxed about sharing personal secrets that may or may not be spread to another individual. What do you think? Lock it up or let it out?
