My dogs get burnt out easily on their regular dog food so I like to mix it up and give them special dishes every now and then. So today, I wanted to share with you an easy, yummy, healthy vegan Thanksgiving recipe for your little guy or gal to enjoy for this special holiday on Thursday! And you'll even have some left overs from this recipe to mix in with their dog food for later! Win, win situation? I'd say so! Let's dive into this recipe, shall we!?
4 Cups of cooked organic quinoa
2 Cups of organic vegetable stock
1 Tsp. of fresh pressed garlic or garlic powder
*Use vegetable stock instead of water to cook quinoa and add garlic to the mix then cook all together (see measurements above)
1 lb. of finely chopped organic broccoli, cauliflower and baby carrots, boiled
2 Tbsp. of organic flax seeds (to sprinkle on top)
*After you cook your quinoa with the vegetable stock and the garlic, you will then want to add your boiled vegetables to the quinoa mixture and top it off with flax seeds. Make sure before serving that the mixture is at a comfortable temperature for he or she to enjoy! Wallah! A yummy, healthy vegan Thanksgiving meal for your pup to enjoy! Happy Holidays Everyone!
